Classes for Men & Women

Classes

Group Mat

This class is open to all levels for both drop-in and series registration. If you are considering dropping in to one class (or coming just to try out the class), be aware that some progression is present during the series of classes that starts at the beginning of January, April, July, and October. Therefore a student who has never taken Pilates before may be more comfortable coming to a class toward the beginning of the series than toward the end.

Group Equipment

This class includes exercises on the reformer, cadillac, chairs, and barrels. New exercises will generally not be introduced during this class, but will be practiced in the flow of the workout with other students. Some equipment setup is required. This class is therefore intended for the student who is moderately to very experienced on the equipment.

Winter Class Series

Chair

This 45 minute class includes a stretchy warm-up and wall cool down, sandwiched around 35-40 minutes of classical chair exercises. This class is recommended for those wanting an intense cardio workout and for those with good wrist and ankle health and alignment. Five private lessons or instructor approval required.

Open Studio

Follow a written workout designed just for you that includes exercises on the mat, chair, cadillac/trapeze table, and barrels. Because equipment setup is required, Open Studio is intended for students who have had ten or more private lessons, or with instructor approval. An instructor will be in the studio at all times, but the student is responsible for safe setup and cleaning of the equipment.
